Van Dyk's Swimming

Our swim lessons encourage children to associate challenge and learning with excitement and fun: to associate fun with learning. They learn how to learn. In this way, lessons at an early age are more important than a college education.

Your child is encouraged to achieve the utmost of their ability in each lesson. They will receive individual attention with our flexible approach assuring that no child’s learning is limited by others in the class.

Our programs vary between age groups and capabilities. Your child will be coached to feel safe and confident in the pool and will find learning to swim efficiently, stimulating and fun.

Our instructors (Swim Australia or Austswim qualified) are in the water at all times with your child allowing easier communication and more purposeful tuition.

Anxious or hesitant children are gently encouraged to become more confident and cooperative.

To offer a better learning experience for your child, teacher training is ongoing.
